Finding Everyday Fashion Inspiration with Jessica Stein and Tuula

Fashion is something I’m always on the lookout for in my day to day life. There’s so much inspiration out there if you know where to find it, and lately, I’ve been turning to bloggers more than ever. Sure, celebrities have their place—those red carpet looks designed by big name designers are stunning—but there’s something special about street style. I love seeing how regular people put their outfits together and make them their own. It feels more real, more relatable. One blog that’s been standing out to me recently is Tuula, run by Jessica Stein. It’s one of the most popular fashion blogs right now, and it even got nominated for a Bloglovin award this year, which is well deserved. So, I thought I’d share some of my favorite looks from Tuula and talk about why Jessica’s style resonates with me so much.

Jessica Stein has this incredible way of making fashion look effortless. That’s what draws me to her blog the most—her ability to take any look and carry it off with confidence. She can wear something as simple as a white top and skirt and turn it into something gorgeous. It’s not just about the clothes, though; it’s how she puts everything together. Her style statements are bold yet approachable, and I find myself coming back to her posts for ideas on how to mix things up in my own wardrobe. What’s really impressive is how she doesn’t overcomplicate things. She’ll pair basics in a way that feels fresh, and it makes you realize you don’t need a closet full of designer pieces to look good.

Beyond her outfits, Jessica has also opened my eyes to the power of photography in fashion. Before I started following Tuula, I mostly thought about pictures as a way to show off what I was wearing. But her blog made me see it differently. It’s not just about the clothes—it’s about the whole scene. The background, the lighting, the setting—all of it matters. She’s got a real talent for picking locations that complement her looks, whether it’s a sunny beach or a quiet city street. It’s like she turns the world around her into part of the outfit. That’s something I’ve been trying to pay more attention to myself. Finding a backdrop that works with what you’re wearing can take a good photo and make it amazing. It’s a skill I’m still working on, but watching her has definitely inspired me to think bigger.

One thing I’ve been excited about lately is my new Michael Kors watch. I picked it up on a recent trip to the US, and I can’t stop looking at it. It’s got this sleek gold design that’s so cute and stylish—I had to snap a picture to share with you all. I’d actually gotten a gold watch as a gift for someone else a while back, and after seeing how nice it looked, I decided I wanted one too. I was torn between a Marc Jacobs design and this Michael Kors one for a while. Both were gorgeous, but in the end, the MK watch won me over. It’s got this perfect mix of classic and modern that I’m obsessed with. I’ve been wearing it nonstop since I got it, and it feels like such a fun addition to my accessories. You’ll see it in some of the pics I’ll be posting soon—it’s too good not to show off.

Speaking of that US trip, it was part of a crazy travel stretch I did recently. In the span of one week, I went to three continents: Jeju Island in South Korea, then Europe, and finally the US for holidays. I’d never done anything like that before, and let me tell you, it was exhausting. By the end of it, I was completely wiped out, but it was worth it for all the experiences I got to have. I took a ton of pictures along the way, especially from Jeju Island, which was stunning. I’ll be sharing those soon, along with some from the other stops. Travel always inspires me when it comes to fashion too—seeing how people dress in different places gives me new ideas to play with. I’m still sorting through everything, but I promise it’s coming.

Most of those travel pics will end up on my Instagram account, so keep an eye out there if you’re curious. I’ve been getting more into Instagram lately, and I love how easy it is to share quick updates and snapshots. It’s still pretty new to me, so I’m figuring out how it all works, but I’m enjoying it so far. There’s so much going on there—other bloggers, fashion posts, travel ideas—and I want to dive in more. It’s a great way to stay connected and see what’s trending, and I’m excited to keep exploring it. You’ll definitely see more of my style and travel stuff popping up, so if you’re into that, give it a follow.

Back to Jessica and Tuula, though—her blog really is a goldmine for anyone who loves fashion. One of my favorite looks from her is this simple white dress she wore against a coastal backdrop. The dress itself wasn’t anything fancy—just a clean, flowy cut—but the way she styled it with minimal accessories and let the ocean view frame her made it unforgettable. It’s that kind of effortless vibe I’m always chasing in my own outfits. Another one I loved was a layered look with a denim jacket over a light skirt. She shot it in a city setting, and the mix of casual and chic worked so well with the urban background. It’s those little details that make her stand out—she knows how to balance the clothes and the scene.

What I’ve learned from watching her is that fashion isn’t just about what you wear; it’s about how you present it. A plain outfit can become something special if you pair it with the right attitude and surroundings. That’s why I’ve been trying to think more about where I take my own photos. It’s not enough to just stand in front of a blank wall anymore—I want the background to add something to the story. Whether it’s a park, a street corner, or even just a cool doorway, it’s all about finding what complements the look. Jessica’s mastered that, and it’s pushed me to up my game.

Her travel posts are another big draw for me. She’s been to so many amazing places—Australia, Europe, Asia—and she always manages to match her outfits to the vibe of wherever she is. Like, she’ll wear something breezy and light in a tropical spot, then switch to structured layers in a city. It’s not just random; you can tell she puts thought into it. That’s something I’ve been trying to do more on my own trips. When I was in Jeju, for example, I went for loose dresses and sandals because it fit the island feel. In Europe, I leaned into jackets and boots since the weather was cooler. The US was a mix of both, depending on where I was. Seeing how Jessica ties her style to her location has definitely influenced how I approach dressing for travel.

Her photography skills are on another level too. I’m no expert with a camera, but I can tell she’s got an eye for it. The way she uses natural light or picks angles that highlight both her outfit and the scenery is so smart. It’s made me more aware of how I frame my own shots. I used to just snap a quick picture and call it a day, but now I’m trying to think about things like lighting and perspective. It’s a work in progress, but it’s fun to experiment with. I’ve even started noticing little details in my surroundings—like a colorful wall or a tree line—that I can use to make my photos pop. It’s all thanks to the way Tuula blends fashion and nature so seamlessly.

As for my own style, I’m always tweaking it based on what I see and where I go. That Michael Kors watch, for instance, has become a staple already. I love how it adds a touch of polish to even the simplest outfits. I wore it a lot during my travels, and it went with everything from casual tees to dresses. It’s funny—I almost went for the Marc Jacobs one because it had a similar gold vibe, but the MK design just felt more me. It’s got this understated elegance that I’m really into right now. I’ll be posting some looks with it soon, so you can see how I’m styling it.

The travel whirlwind I mentioned earlier was a lot to handle, but it gave me so much material to work with. Jeju Island was probably my favorite stop—those volcanic landscapes and beaches were unreal. I took tons of pictures there, mostly in flowy outfits that matched the relaxed vibe. Europe was more about city exploring, so I went for layers and comfortable shoes. The US trip was a mix of shopping and sightseeing, which is how I ended up with the watch. I’m still recovering from all that jet lag, but it was a once in a lifetime kind of week. I’ll be sharing more from each place on Instagram as I get them sorted—there’s too much to fit into one blog post.

Following blogs like Tuula has been a game changer for me. It’s not just about copying what Jessica wears; it’s about getting inspired to try new things. She’s got this way of making fashion feel accessible, even when she’s in some far off location wearing a designer piece. I’ve started looking at my own closet differently because of her—mixing pieces I wouldn’t have thought to pair before, playing with textures, or adding a standout accessory like my new watch. It’s all about finding what works for you, and her blog is a great starting point for that.

Instagram’s been another source of inspiration lately too. I’m still getting the hang of it, but I love scrolling through and seeing what other people are posting. There’s so much variety—street style, travel shots, outfit ideas—and it’s a quick way to spot trends. I’ve been using it more to share my own stuff, especially from this crazy travel stretch. It’s a fun way to keep things updated in real time, and I’m excited to see where it takes me. If you’re on there, drop by and check out what I’ve been up to—I’m always adding new pics.

Jessica’s influence goes beyond just clothes and photos, though. She’s got this adventurous spirit that comes through in everything she does. Whether she’s exploring a new city or posing by the ocean, you can tell she’s soaking it all in. That’s something I’ve tried to bring into my own life, especially on this recent trip. I pushed myself to see as much as I could in that one week, even if it left me exhausted. It was worth it for the memories—and the outfit ideas I picked up along the way. Her blog reminds me that fashion isn’t static; it’s part of how you experience the world.

Looking ahead, I’m planning to keep experimenting with my style based on what I’ve learned. That might mean trying out more minimalist looks like Jessica’s white top and skirt combo, or maybe playing with bolder backgrounds for my photos. The Michael Kors watch will definitely stay in rotation—it’s too versatile not to. And as I get more comfortable with Instagram, I’ll be sharing those updates there too. It’s all about keeping things fresh and finding new ways to express myself through what I wear and how I capture it.

If you haven’t checked out Tuula yet, I’d highly recommend it. Jessica Stein’s style is so worth exploring, whether you’re into fashion, travel, or just good photography. She’s got a knack for making every look feel special, and it’s easy to see why her blog’s gotten so much attention. For me, it’s been a big part of how I’ve been rethinking my own approach to style. Between that and my recent travels, I’ve got plenty to keep me inspired—and plenty to share with you all. Stay tuned for more, especially on Instagram, where I’ll be posting those Jeju pics and more soon. Thanks for reading, and let me know what you think about Jessica’s style or that MK watch—I’d love to hear your take!
